Ontario Provincial Government Renews Datawitness Status As Approved Vendor For Three More Years
Sep 3rd 2008
Richmond, British Columbia – September 3, 2008 – The Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities renewed Datawitness Online Ltd. for an additional three years as an approved vendor for maintaining and issuing student transcripts for Ontario Private Career Colleges (PCCs). PCCs are required by the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 (the Act) to store transcripts off-site for 25 years within 90 days of a student leaving a college. Datawitness is re-qualified as an approved vendor until July 18, 2011.
Datawitness provides long-term student and corporate records archiving to Canadian educational institutions and other business sectors. Datawitness.com's StoreIt service enables educators to maintain secure off-site student records without the cost, space, and security challenges of keeping paper records safe and accessible for decades.
"We are pleased to continue offering our service to Ontario PCCs," said Karim Allibhai, Director of Sales, Datawitness. "StoreIt was a perfect fit to accept student records from the day we were selected as an approved vendor. We're happy to report that many PCCs have come on board with us over the past year to maintain compliance with the Act. They discovered how easy it is to archive and manage transcripts online using StoreIt. We continue to improve StoreIt as an efficient and cost-effective way for our current and future PCC clients to achieve Ministry compliance."
