Datawitness Authentication And Archiving Service To Be Delivered Through BC OnLine

Surrey, British Columbia - May 2, 2006 - Datawitness Online Ltd. has signed an agreement with the Province of British Columbia and MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates to make the Datawitness service for "virtual notary" witnessing, forms data capture, workflow, archiving, and electronic document signing services available through the government’s BC OnLine service.

Richmond, British Columbia – May 2, 2006 – The Province, MDA and Datawitness Online Ltd. have signed an agreement to provide Datawitness third-party electronic authentication and archiving services including forms data capture, workflow, electronic signing, and microfilming to the legal and finance sectors. The new service will be made available through BC Online (www.bconline.com).

BC OnLine customers will be able to use Datawitness to negotiate and sign contracts online, design forms that look like their existing paper-based forms for online data capture, and preserve critical information pertaining to their day-to-day operations in case of business or legal disputes. "We feel that the Datawitness service provides customers with a better way to capture, distribute and archive important business information” said Allan Crawshaw, MDA General Manager responsible for BC OnLine."
